The Media Specialist shall use applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash, 3D Studio Max, Maya, or similar applications to develop, modify, or import graphics, illustrations, photos, models, or animations. The Media Specialist shall also use 2D and 3D graphics to develop animations, and motion graphics supporting training and/or learning solutions using multiple delivery methodologies. 

The Level 1 Media Specialist shall possess the following capabilities:

• Prepare conceptual illustrations.
• Develop digital graphics and artwork.
• Develop or convert graphics from photographs or video to provide a "virtual world" look and feel.
• Develop 3D models.
• Develop 2D and 3D animations and motion graphics.
• Design training content centric webpage layouts.
• Basic video editing.

• Associate’s degree in Graphic Art, Graphic Design, Fine Art, Design Art, Computer Science or Computer Graphic Design/Computer Graphics, and two (2) years of experience in media production.
• In lieu of the Associate’s degree, an additional two (2) additional years of experience designing solutions using static graphics, animations, and interactive animations for a total of four (4) years of experience.
