Job Description

The VP of IT Infrastructure & Service Delivery is responsible for leading and managing the effective and seamless operation of IT Infrastructure. The VP of Infrastructure Services will report directly to the Chief Information Officer, and will be personally engaged in and responsible for the creation, development, execution, and supervision of all aspects of shared infrastructure services across the enterprise.  This position drives the technological direction of the organization and interfaces regularly with internal business partners as well as the IT organization.

 

This position is responsible for several teams including; Network & Telecom Services, 24x7 Service Desk, Information Security, Data Center, Client & Server Solutions, Applications Support, Quality Assurance, and Service Delivery (Change Management).

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or other technology-related field is required; Masters degree in Business Administration or other advanced educational degree is a nice to have.
  • Expert-level leadership skills including, but not limited to, giving constructive behavior-based feedback that keeps others focused on results, creating accountability; responding constructively and maturely to feedback from others; developing and retaining talent; creating and communicating clear, relevant, actionable goals; managing conflict effectively; developing performance; and the willingness to conduct constructive, difficult conversations
  • At least 15 years of high-level technical experience in two or more IS/IT disciplines related to Information Technology or advanced technology-related area required; at least 5 years of IT  service-based management experience at the director level or above required (including direct people management responsibility, (systems operations and admin, telecommunications, etc.)).
  • Strong Technology background/experience and working technical knowledge relating to networks, data center services, security services, enterprise voice services, and application support.
  • Proven experience with aligning strategy, talent, technology and general systems to build cross-functional relationships and to achieve outstanding business results.
  • Experience successfully traversing the “build versus buy” IT decisions and leading organizations through the resulting transformations.
  • Experience in the retail or hospitatliy industry a plus.
