Job Description

The Scientific Liaison will be dedicated marketing personnel to write application notes and peer-reviewed articles, travel with sales team, and present highly technical sequencing information at industry conferences.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Generate technical marketing and sales collateral including content for websites, slide presentations, white papers, posters and peer-reviewed publications 
• Attend scientific conferences to gain competitive intelligence, present product offerings, and gather customer requirements. Present these findings to internal teams.
• Reading 10-20 journal articles per month and report findings to internal teams.
• Become familiar with key trends in NGS and clinical genomics
• Support the field sales team with on-demand presentations
• Liaise between marketing, RnD, and existing collaborators
• Ability to travel >=50% of the time

Qualifications

Requisite Education or Special Study
• PhD in molecular biology or related field
• High degree of emotional intelligence, ability to communicate effectively with customers at all levels 
• Strong cancer background a plus


Requisite Experience
• 2+ years hands-on experience with NGS applications 
• Extensive record or publications and/or technical presentations
• Wide exposure to various types of genomic experiments, methodologies, and platforms
• Outstanding verbal and written communication
