Job Description

This position is responsible for the supervision and support of 6 billing specialists. The individual will also provide support to the Billing Manager by assisting in the implementation and enforcement of policies and procedures, as well as streamlining effective billing processes across multiple markets and products within multiple distinct billing systems. This position is key to the success and timeliness of the billing department goals.  It requires someone with some leadership skillsets with the ability to prioritize, plan, and help direct the department.

Ø  Manage and process billing work orders which include entering rates, credits, debits and customer account updates.

Ø  Improve standardization and efficiency of billing processes.

Ø  Ensure billing control efficiency and provide feedback for improvements.

Ø  Analyze daily productivity results and take action to ensure the timeliness of all billing work orders and daily tasks.

Ø  First point of contact for billing inquiry escalations.

Ø  Month-end closing tasks such as revenue uploads, billing checks and validations.  

Ø  Special Projects/billing planning and implementation

Ø  Personnel supervision and development.

Ø  Help lead weekly staff meetings.

Ø  Staffing discussions and planning.

Ø  Team building.

Ø  College degree in accounting/finance/business management preferred


Ø  Entrepreneurial and driven individual.

Ø  Independent worker and analytical thinker with ability to conduct research, data analysis, and resolve complex problems with minimal oversight.
Ø  3 to 5 years of work experience in a team lead role preferably in Finance or Billing. 
Ø  Ability to multitask and work in a challenging, fast paced environment.
Ø  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ø  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ø  Strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a team player a must!
Ø  Strong presence and the ability to communicate with members of the senior management team.
Ø  Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ø  Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics Navision and SAP Business Objects ideal but not required.

Ø  Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equal experience.

 Ø  Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese a big plus!
