Job Description

Begin an exciting career opportunity with Arkadin, a fast growing global cloud communications company within the NTT Group.  A new opportunity has been created for a talented AP Manager based in London to join us, you will be responsible for supervising and developing the EMEA AP team. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to apply your existing knowledge and gain experience in a dynamic environment. Key responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 6, provide ongoing training, mentoring, coaching and performance management
  • Define, implement, document and maintain AP policies & procedures
  • Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments, proper coding, and compliance with internal controls
  • Manage monthly close of accounts payable and ensure unprocessed/outstanding invoices & expenses are properly accounted for
  • Supervise bank reconciliations
  • Manage supplier relationships
  • Assist the AP team in resolving discrepancies by evaluating and approving investigations and resolving special cases
  • Support internal and external audit
  • Provide business partnering with other functions (i.e. Procurement, Operations, HR, etc.) regarding payment procedures, vendor issues, and problem resolution
  • Assist with other projects when required


  • Develop the EMEA centralised AP team
  • Improve and standardise processes, controls and best practise throughout the region
  • Achieve KPI targets and receive positive feedback from other stakeholders


  • 5+ years’ experience with full cycle AP
  • Relevant experience and knowledge in AP management
  • University Degree equivalent and/or AAT / CIMA/ ACCA qualifications completed or in progress is an advantage
  • 3+ years management experience
  • Experience of Accounting ERP tools as a functional user. Microsoft Navision is an advantage
  • Experience with SAP Concur expense management tool is advantagous
  • Experience in an international environment: multi-currencies, international GAAP and tax rules
  • Proficiency in standard office tools (Excel, Word and Power Point)
  • Self-motivated, excellent team player, well organized, with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to identify opportunities and implement improvements
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills (in English)
  • French or German language skills are an advantage
