- St. Charles, MO
When we partner with companies to improve business processes, our primary focus is to create more output from an existing organization. This usually means offloading responsibilities from key managers to build repeatable systems. A "repeatable system" occurs when the activities of a company are dependent upon roles, not people. We begin by documenting all processes in the organization, meeting with managers and employees to identify problem-areas. We then use industry best-practices to help architect a more efficient approach, including the creation of process maps for role-specific activities and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure individual and company performance. Description This position will be responsible for evaluating and making recommendations to ensure that the control environment adequately safeguards the company's assets, both business and infrastructure related, ensuring that the electronic information is complete, reliable, and adequately secured. The incumbent will also make recommendations to improve the efficiency, security and effectiveness of internal controls and operating processes in the corporate IT department, as well as compliance with government and industry regulations utilizing the COBIT framework.
