CAD Technician

Location:

St. Louis, MO

Responsibilities:

· Use AutoCAD/Revit to provide support to engineers by preparing floor plans, details, diagrams, and schedules

· Understanding of drafting techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology

· Preparation of design development and construction/engineering documents on various types of industrial projects in cooperation with senior staff

· Assist Project Managers with project designs using AutoCAD or Revit

· Creation of new drawings as well as modifications of existing drawings, compilation and assembly of construction documents

· 2-5 years of mechanical and/or electrical drafting and AutoCAD experience, Associates degree preferred

· Advanced understanding of CADD operations

· Industrial and commercial project drafting experience preferred

· Efficiency in AutoCAD 2010-2015

· General PC skills including MS Office and Outlook

· Strong organization and communication skills

· Ability to work under pressure

· Ability to work within a team as well as independently

· Revit experience and 3D drafting and modeling a plus
