Job Description

Our team is looking to hire a strong Remedy leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced Federal Government environment. This leader will have the opportunity to showcase great technical skill and thought leadership. The project location is in Suitland, MD with direct Metro access and free parking. 

This is a full-time position with a contract for at least two years. This position is a new role on an existing team.  The candidate must be a US Permanent Resident or a US citizen. Candidate will be required to possess an active Public Trust investigation. All work must be performed on client site in a secure location for 1st 6 months.  After 6 months, telework schedule is possible for 2-3 days of the week.  

The candidate will be responsible to perform the analysis, integration, data and workflow development, documentation, testing, and implementation of solutions within the Remedy 8.x environment to support the forthcoming projects as directed.  

The consultant will also be expected to perform tasks including installation, configuration, customization reconciliation, data migration, and end-user training required for the most recent upgrade to Remedy 9.1.  

The consultant will be expected to perform modifications/configuration of the Remedy custom and ITSM modules, forms, workflow, interfaces and any other configurations required to support the in-house processes as directed.

Qualifications

BMC Education AR System Foundation and Developer course completion with 7 or more years of experience analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, training, documenting, upgrading, and deploying Remedy ITSM.

  • BMC Remedy Action Request System 8.x- Installing, Configuring, Upgrading, Customizing
  • BMC Remedy ITSM 8.x- SRM Advanced Interface Forms experience, Incident Management, Change Management and integrations to Remedy (Web Services)
  • BIRT/Crystal Reports

Additional desired skill sets:

  • BMC Remedy ARS 9.0 and BMC Remedy ITSM 9.0
  • BMC Smart IT/Mobility
  • Enjoys working in a team environment that collectively is highly visible and respected to client's end users.
