The RN MDS Coordinator is responsible for managing the resident assessment instrument process, including, but not limited to scheduling, completion, accuracy, and timeliness of the MDS and care plans (RAI Process) to promote the participant’s optimum wellness, rehabilitation potential, maximize reimbursement and assure compliance with state and federal regulations. Collaborates with nursing leadership and staff to implement and monitor systems for capturing appropriate supporting documentation. Provides staff training related to the MDS and care planning process. Works collaboratively with the Director of Nursing to promote an environment that supports the individual needs of our residents.

1. Registered Nurse with an unencumbered license in Minnesota
2. Customer service and detail orientated
3. Previous experience in long-term care
4. Has solid computer skills
5. Communicates well, on the phone and in person
6. Organizes and manages time wisely
7. Can multi-task
8. Prior MDS experience preferred, but not necessary
