Job Description:

The successful candidate will perform the following strategic testing roles for the D2C Manhattan WMS implementation:

Serve as a Subject Matter and Process Expert. Work with the enterprise test management team and PPQA to ensure Q4M processes and methodologies are followed.
Create high level sizing estimates for all testing activities. Collaborate with Senior Testing Advocates to utilize the current budget to plan testing resources by project/phase/month to ensure appropriate coverage.
Organize and drive testing strategies to completion by actively monitoring/overseeing the testing process (including functional, systems, integration, performance). Report status to Program Manager by partnering with project manager.
Serve as initial escalation point for program level risks/issues. Solve problems creatively.
Develop/Support overall Test Strategy and Master Test Plan for program.
Ensure communication and collaboration between all testing resources and the project team.
Report status to senior management.
Manage senior business partner expectations and relationships.

Technical skill set needed:

5 plus years experience in testing, 3 plus years in a lead capacity.
Experience planning, sizing and leading large test efforts.
Experience in communicating with/presenting information to all levels of management.
Creation of test plans, test schedules and test cases.
Manual execution of testing and the creation of defect reports.
Unix,Oracle and Mainframe testing experience a plus.
Understanding of retail concepts a plus.
Industry experience in distribution centers and direct to consumer concepts and processes

5+ years of Manhattan experience in Consulting or QA capacity
Experience with Open systems product a plus
Ability to write SQLs is required
