Job Description

Auto Warehousing Company, leading Automotive processing company is seeking an entry level Administrative Support Specialist with one to three years' experience. This position would provide general administrative support to the Portland operations.

Essential Duties:

  • Prepares rail and trucking bills
  • Correspond with customers and transportation companies
  • Manipulate data to, from and within multiple databases
  • Ensure proper updates to appropriate databases
  • Assist Facility Management with weekly / monthly production reports with accuracy
  • Research and process Warranty claims (as required)
  • Performs administrative duties for facility and regional managers
  • Provides operation support to customers on an as needed basis
  • Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
  • Ability to work overtime when needed
  • Maintain a clean, well-organized, and professional appearance in work area
  • Thorough knowledge of office practices, procedures, and equipment.
  • Skilled in the proper use of English, including proper spelling and punctuation.
  • Other duties as assigned (Experience in accounting a plus)

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in office support
  • Must be a team player, detail-orientated, problem solver, self-starter with flexibility to manage multiple tasks on a daily basis
  • Must be proficient in 10-key, spreadsheet and database entry and manipulation
  • Thorough knowledge and demonstrated skills with MS Office; including intermediate to advanced EXCEL skills (Internal and customer computer applications a plus)
  • Pay Range: $14.00 to $17.00. (Based on Candidate Experience)
  • You must be flexible with scheduling to include evenings and occasional weekends
