Position:  UI/UX Design Architect

Status:  full-time
Mountain View, CA

Pay rate: $120K



Essential skills:

·         Minimum 7-10 years of experience creating and deploying high-volume ecommerce solutions across web and mobile, preferably within financial services, using ASP.Net 3.5+, Visual Studio.net 2008/2010, Visual Basic, C#, Entity Framework, and/or SQL Server 2005

·         Possess a blend of visual design, interaction design, and prototyping experience

·         Ability to prototype in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and/or Flash required; Working knowledge of client side scripting languages such as JSON, REST, jQuery preferred

·         Experience coordinating and managing end user testing including focus group, usability lab, and user observation as well as familiarity setting up style guides, pattern libraries and other design solutions

·         Understanding and knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM applications preferred, as well as knowledge of design software: Axure, Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, Omnigraffle, Dreamweaver, etc.


Job duties:

·         Create and drive the vision for developing, communicating and implementing the user experience (UX) and associated user interface (UI) framework across the digital product suite - web and mobile. Ensure adherence to UI architectural standards and best practices

·         Product user-flows, wireframes, proof-of-concept prototypes, visual mock-ups and UI specifications

·         Initiate and manage user experience testing. Compile, synthesize user feedback, and ensure the voice of the customer is represented

·         Partner and collaborate daily with cross-functional teams within an Agile framework

·         Analyze and interpret relevant data/metrics in support of design, UI, and UX optimization efforts

·         Continuously evaluate, design and improve digital product development and delivery processes
