Job Description

We are seeking a full-time, in-house employee to be responsible for planning & developing content marketing projects, including writing, editing and proofing copy for web content, online and offline marketing copy, articles, case studies, essays and white papers on the industry, and scripts for videos and presentations. In addition, this person will have a talent for search engine optimized web site content, articles and press releases that will drive quality links and leads to our site.

Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations programs that will enhance our image and position within the marketplace
  • Assist in developing brand tone and voice, insuring all content in all media channels meet brand tone and voice standards
  • Develop innovative solutions for content presentation, including content management, workflow, and maintenance
  • Develop clear, creative, and compelling copy for print and online content
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop resources, talking points, presentation and communications products for customer-facing teams
  • Author and distribute timelines and action plans for project completion to team members
  • Ability to conduct in-depth research and client interviews to glean relevant content ideas

 

Required skills and experience

  • 2-5 years of experience
  • Extreme attention to detail to editing, spelling and grammar
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Familiarity with search engine optimization writing techniques, preferred
  • Experience with social media marketing, preferred
  • CMS/Wordpress experience, preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite; Advanced PowerPoint skills a plus
  • Some experience of using marketing automation tools (particularly Pardot) to create HTML emails a plus
  • Business-to-business technology experience would be ideal
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field
