Consumer Direct Mortgage Loan Officer

Is responsible for originating mortgage loans, conducting borrower interviews, analyzing credit histories, and staying informed on current regulations. Loan officers will work closely with the processing team to ensure all documentation is obtained as the loan moves through the process to closing. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, have the drive and desire to succeed in a fast paced sales environment, and utilize strong time management skills with impeccable attention to detail. This is considered an inside sales position with QUALITY PROVEN LEADS PROVIDED by numerous premier sources!

Key responsibilities include:
•    Following up on lead submissions and answering inbound calls pertaining to mortgage inquiries.
•    Analysis of basic income calculation for loan qualifications.
•    Processing borrower credit, income, and asset information through our Loan Origination System.
•    Structuring loans for borrowers including investor placement, rates, and fees for loans
•    Maintaining in-depth knowledge of FHA, VA, HARP, and Conventional loan programs

•    Mortgage origination experience
•    A valid NMLS ID#
•    Excellent communication skills
•    Strong problem solving ability
•    Ability to prioritize and multi-task, while working in a fast paced environment.
•    Exceptionally detailed, focused and motivated professionals.
•    Comprehensive understanding of legal, compliance and Investor requirements of FHA/VA/Conforming loan programs
•    Knowledge of automated underwriting systems (DU/LP), HUD and RESPA Regulations
