Job Description

 

  • Ensure there are no customer operational failures due to equipment failure
  • Customer Support
  • Perform diversified electrical and mechanical tasks including analytical troubleshooting, both in a planned and reactive environment.
  • Ensure all PPM schedules are completed within agreed timescales to a high standard.
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks in a busy automated warehouse.
  • Identify problematic faults, rectify and monitor performance on a continual basis.
  • Support with project and facitlity management work.
  • Ability  to articulate detailed reports
  • Support Existing site based BEUMER Group CS Colleagues
  • Monitor Operational sorter performances and implementing of continuous improvement measures at customer request
  • Perform systems analysis on various systems including S5 PLC, Profibus, ASi-Bus, EtherCat network. Log analysis on sorter controllers. Training will be provided.
  • Backup and restore PLC

 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification: National craft certificate (electrical) or equivalent.

Experience and Skills

  • 2 years post apprenticeship experience
  • Siemens Step 7 Level 2
  • Knowledge of conveyor/sortation systems would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Emergency Stop System
  • Knowledge of Safety Supervision Systems
  • IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Application
  • The ability and openness to learn and upskill as full training support will be provided
