Job Description

  • As Contract Manager you work in large construction projects with focus on commercial topics, negotiation and communication.
  • The position requires excellent understanding of contracts with our clients, partners and suppliers including their T&Cs, interfacing scope, budgets, quality and time.
  • You communicate directly with various departments starting from the construction site, planning, engineering to high-level management as well as suppliers and clients.
  • Within our business, the contract manager is responsible for maximizing financial and operational success and minimizing contractual risks.
  • Activities involve managing change orders and claims, developing contract management strategies, reviewing contracts, supporting negotiations, maintaining contemporary records, drafting notices and consulting project and executive management in contractual matters as subject matter expert.

Qualifications

  • The position requires a Bachelor's degree whilst a Master's degree is preferred in Industrial Engineering, Engineering and Business or Civil Engineering.
  • We are looking for professionals with a minimum of 5-7 years' experience in contract management within engineering, construction or system integration in the Middle East region.
  • We require good business understanding and proficient experience with standard contracts such as FIDIC.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • A positive, self-driven and professional attitude and appearance, are a must.

Additional Information

In the Middle East we have about 200+ employees from more than 20 countries. You will be based in our Doha office with frequent travels to our Middle East head office located in Dubai, UAE.
