Job Description

1. Main Role of Job:

  • Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team. 
  • Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company's customer base and ensure it's strong presence. 
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.

2. Responsibility:

  • Develop an ambitious, achievable and sustainable sales plan covering the full portfolio of products and solutions of the firm for a range of industry sectors.
  • Using your industry contacts, further develop effective existing client relationships and translate these into signed contracts.
  • Research and qualify potential new sales prospects and develop and manage the sales funnel in a structured, methodical and well documented manner, resulting in new business.
  • Secure ongoing revenue opportunities and manage existing clients with the support of System Managers.
  • Effectively present and demonstrate products and solutions to all levels of prospective clients using modern sales presentation tools and styles, considering their specific needs.
  • Effectively coordinate with centre of competence (EU-HQ) for all type of techno commercial support. 
  • Constantly educate about own and competitors’ product and solutions portfolios.
  • Stay informed about opportunities in the national marketplace through reading and industry research reports and related publications.

3. The Key Expertise 

  • Proven track record of setting and exceeding business sales targets.
  • Relationship and network building capabilities. Enthusiasm and passion for other people’s interests and needs.
  • Strong appetite to sell, desire to regularly close profitable business and a resilient mindset.
  • Basic understanding of Indian contracts and business risk. 
  • Good listening skills, adaptable to all stakeholders and situations. 
  • Positive, engaging, structured, concise communication skills
  • Solid negotiations techniques, balancing the short-term with strategic view and adapting to cultural differences of buyers (companies and individuals) • Proven expertise in managing a complex multi project sales funnel.
  • Expertise in organizing professional presentations and other sales and marketing materials.
  • Proven ability to sell through systems integrators and directly to end users.
  • Ability to build strong relations at all levels of both prospect/group organization

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical or Electronics + Post Graduate in Sales and Marketing
  • Over 10-12 years of professional working background in High Value Project Sales & Capital Goods Sales Management and Business Development. 
  • Industry should be mix of product mechanical, electrical control and IT.

  • MS Office- Proficient, PPT -Expert, Excel – Expert,
  • MS Project- Elementary
  • AutoCAD- Basic
