You will become part of a Software Product Organisation in great transformation. We develop software products across BEUMER Group's world-class intralogistic solutions, consisting of complex baggage handling systems for airports and logistics sortation and packaging systems for e.g. postal and e-commerce services.

Now, we want to restructure our SW portfolio and reorganise our function to better respond proactively to current and future costumer needs. And that is where you come into the picture.

Bring our SW portfolio into the future
You will be responsible for developing our SW product vision, objectives and blueprints as well as continuously develop, price and upscale the SW portfolio. This involves acquiring an understanding of our existing portfolio and SW set-up as well as establishing alignment across business expectations and customer needs and situating the new SW suite at the core of the company. Doing so, you will:

• Engage with key customers around the globe to get a thorough understanding of existing and future needs
• Conduct market research, monitor competitors and attend international industry fairs
• Collaborate and align with colleagues from Global Marketing, Sales and R&D to assess business demands and ensure internal excitement and support for the new portfolio
• Map out customer journeys and develop business cases to define our strategy
• Translate the SW strategy into product specifications and collaborate closely with the SW teams to oversee and guide their development

Due to the global nature of this role and the complex stakeholder network involved, you can expect up to 40 travel days a year.

Experienced product manager with convincing collaboration skills
You know how to navigate in a complex organisation across levels, cultures and contrasting agendas. Utilising your interpersonal and collaborative skillset, you are good at meeting the needs of others and standing your ground when needed.

Moreover, you:

• Bring solid experience as a product manager within SW – it is a great plus if you come from a SW organisation with experience in agile product delivery
• Have experience in transition from existing specialised solutions to more standardisation while supporting innovation
• Are fluent in English in both speech and writing and possess an international mindset
• Have a well-developed toolbox when it comes to covering needs and requirements, mapping out customer journeys and developing business cases for enterprise products
