BEUMER Group and its new CEO have ambitious growth plans in the dynamic UK logistics space, and as our new Sales Manager, you'll use your outstanding relationship in the materials handling industry and negotiation skills to develop a sustainable pipeline of business.

  • Identify customers and key players in the market and create customer intimacy especially with e-commerce, parcel delivery service and general warehouse and distribution
  • Achieve agreed order intake and margin
  • Identify project opportunities and stakeholders 
  • Develop sales strategies and align between UK and Global Head Office
  • Assess and qualify sales enquiries, lead presentations and production of proposals
  • Achieve market intelligence and report on competitors' activities and products
  • Attend exhibitions, conferences, meetings and training sessions
  • Manage the tender process from start to finish
  • Prioritise leads and help identify relevant trends and new products
  • Build and maintain our customer base

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Must have experience with logistics projects and sales through a tender process is essential
  • Ideally an Engineering/Business related degree
  • You have 3+ years of experience with system sales, new sales and cultivating your own market
  • You have an end-to-end understanding of similar sales – from canvassing to contract
  • System design ability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Negotiation skills
