Job Description

  • Continuous Monitoring and Analysis:

Conduct continuous monitoring of BEUMER Group's global threat landscape, employing state-of-the-art tools and technologies to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities. Regularly analyze emerging threats and assess their potential impact on the organization's security posture.

  • Incident Triage and Investigation:

Take a hands-on approach to handling cyber security alerts by efficiently triaging incidents from the Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), our external Security Operations Center (SOC), and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS). Conduct in-depth investigations to understand the nature and scope of security incidents.

  • Security Inquiry Management:

Act as a point of contact for security inquiries and requests from different departments within the organization. Provide timely and accurate responses, offering guidance on security best practices, policies, and procedures to enhance the overall security awareness.

  • Global Vulnerability Management:

Drive the organization's vulnerability monitoring and patching activities on a global scale. Implement and oversee processes to identify, prioritize, and remediate vulnerabilities in a timely manner, minimizing the risk of exploitation. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the global vulnerability landscape to adapt strategies accordingly.

  • Incident Response Plan Enhancement:

Regularly review and enhance incident response plans and checklists, ensuring they align with industry best practices and are tailored to the specific needs of BEUMER Group.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications that demonstrate specialized skills, such as CompTIA CySA+ or Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity roles with a focus on threat monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management.
  • Proven experience in overseeing global threat landscapes and managing security incidents in a corporate environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).
  • Familiarity with global vulnerability management tools and practices.
  • Strong understanding of network security, encryption, firewalls, and other security technologies.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills to assess and respond to complex security incidents.
  • Ability to analyze security trends, identify potential risks, and recommend proactive measures.
