A member of BEUMER Group, located in Korea BEUMER Group Korea Ltd. is located at 534 Teheran‑ro, Gangnam‑gu, Seoul, and we operate in the automated logistics equipment and Baggage Handling System (BHS) industry.
Job Description
- Conduct on-site inspections and validate equipment status as part of preventive maintenance.
- Manage customer sites, monitor system performance, and respond to system errors or failures.
- Perform hands‑on troubleshooting, service, and repairs for breakdown maintenance.
- Provide technical support to customers both onsite and remotely.
- Develop technical documentation related to service activities.
- Coordinate with BEUMER Hotline and customers to resolve support cases.
- Supervise and develop service technicians.
- Manage field service calls professionally and resolve issues promptly.
- Complete all required reports and paperwork in a timely manner.
- Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and follow up on corrective actions.
- Perform annual sorter inspections for all customers.
- Execute minor upgrade projects in Korea as assigned.
- Perform any duties within the capability and function of a Field Service Engineer.
- Understand and follow BEUMER Group corporate processes and procedures.
- Carry out any additional assignments from the reporting supervisor or management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Major in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of logistics automation systems (preferred).
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Working knowledge of electrical circuits, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Intermediate‑level English proficiency (preferred).
- Added advantage: experience in IT, networking, or PLC.
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership qualities.
- Ability to plan, multi‑task, and manage time independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong report writing and documentation skills.
- Good computer and database proficiency.
- Able to work under pressure with minimal guidance.
- Result‑oriented mindset.
- Responsible, proactive, and willing to accept delegated tasks.
- Creative with strong analytical and technical writing skills.
- Able to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
Additional Information
- Work Location: Gangnam‑gu, Seoul, Korea
- Employment type: Full‑time (3‑month probation)
- Salary: based on previous year’s annual salary and company policy
- Submission of previous year’s withholding tax certificate required
- Working hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00
