Job Description

Balsam Brands is looking for talented, driven individuals to join our growing team as entry-level Analysts. As an Analyst, you will be placed in a critical function and will gain exposure to the-inner workings of a fast growing, multi-channel retailer.

You will learn the analytical and creative skills to carry you through your career. You will work closely with several internal teams, developing cross-functional expertise and gaining significant exposure to every aspect of the business. You will be provided exceptional mentorship throughout your journey, both formally through a development mentor program, and informally with other team members.

CRM Marketing Analyst:

Responsibilities: You will be a part of our email marketing and catalog teams, helping to execute cross-channel marketing strategy to reach customers at each stage in their customer lifecycle journey. You will create marketing messages using data insights to engage our customers and drive customer retention.

Ideal Role For: Candidates with strong verbal and written communication skills who enjoy using both the right and left sides of their brain to create great customer experiences.

Finance / Operations Analyst:

Responsibilities: You will be responsible for several key projects with significant financial impact, such as overseeing real-time inventory reconciliation, tying inventory and associated costs to specific customer orders, and tracking shipping expenses against expected charges. In this role, you would work regularly with our internal Finance and Operations teams and external warehouse partners.

Ideal Role For: Candidates with strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and working with others to solve problems.

Operations Analyst:

Responsibilities: You will act as the point-person within several operational processes. These could include supporting customer service needs, ensuring that inventory counts are consistent between internal systems and with warehouses, or managing inventory inbound or outbound shipments. You will learn how to analyze supply chain and financial metrics, working with multiple internal cross-functional partners.

Ideal Role For: Candidates who enjoy understanding how things work and making things happen as efficiently as possible.

Performance Marketing Analyst:

Responsibilities: You will drive SEM traffic and revenue to our Webstores by focusing on our paid marketing initiatives – including text, display, and video ads. You will analyze PPC performance utilizing a variety of analytics tools, perform keyword research and expand PPC accounts, perform ad copy and landing page testing & analysts. 

Ideal Role For: Candidates who are creative, love teamwork and like to get things done!

SEO Analyst:

Responsibilities: You will be hands-on in executing our overall Search Engine Optimization strategy for our portfolio of sites. You will identify SEO issues and find dynamic solutions, while ensuring that our sites’ content is appropriate, optimized and organized. You will also serve as a key liaison for our global team.

Ideal Role For: Candidates who are excellent collaborators and communicators and who thrive managing detail-rich projects from start to finish.

Customer Success Analyst:

Responsibilities: You will work with the Customer Success team to design and support customer success best practices for the global Customer Success team and monitoring and reporting on the Customer Success teams worldwide. You will project manage ongoing customer success programs and initiatives, assist internal teams to launch new programs and successful execute existing programs.

Ideal Role For: Candidates who are effective communicators (you write and verbally communicate well), enjoy helping others, like being creative, thrive in an environment that requires strong problem-solving skills, and want to make a difference.

Marketplace Analyst:

Responsibilities: You will manage and execute the relationships with our online marketplace partners (ex. Amazon). You will work cross-functionally to help merchandise the optimal product assortment, manage the quality of customer-facing content, ensure execution of premium customer service levels, and optimize marketing initiatives to drive efficient revenue through these channels. You will play a crucial role in developing a rapidly growing channel and building awareness for our brands.

Ideal Role For: Candidates who are creative self-starters, like to wear many hats, are detail-oriented, and love building things!
