Job Description

The Content Operations Coordinator is responsible for receiving, processing, packaging, and ensuring general quality control of all content coming from direct labels and aggregation partners.

Qualifications

Some of the typical job responsibilities include:

  • Validate, process, organize and report all incoming content to Beatport Label Managers. 
  • Troubleshoot and ensure quality of all ingested content including content for merchandising purposes (i.e. artist photos for charts)
  • Approve deliveries for encoding to the Beatport system tools.
  • Work directly with labels to fix metadata issues. Ensure metadata can be ingested properly and communicate directly with labels when it cannot.
  • Prepare encoding reports of all ingested content to Label Managers.
  • Prepare and communicate error reports to labels.
  • Communicate with Content Merchandisers about expected releases and catalog.

To land this job you’ll need to have:

  • 1 year data entry work experience requiring attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Macs
  • Interest in electronic dance music
  • Personable, friendly, and positive-thinking attitude
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and follow-up skills
  • Proficiency in standard software applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook), FTP file management and ability to quickly learn new applications
  • Dedication to consistently producing high-quality, accurate, and thorough work
  • Uses time effectively and can self-manage their own daily schedule and workload
  • Plans tasks to be completed in a timely and responsible manner

 

And it will be an added bonus if you’ve got:

Experience in the electronic music industry, record label, distribution or marketing background.

Familiarity with audio production, recording, editing or performance related knowledge.
