Job Description

Beatport is recognized as the world’s leading digital music store for DJs, who regularly download the tracks, beats, and loops they need to create their ever-changing set-lists. We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator, to report to our Director of Operations. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing and assisting with Beatport projects as well as coordinating SFX projects, external projects, sponsorship projects, music programs and other programs.

Some of the typical job responsibilities include:

-Manage and assist with internal Beatport workflow as well as help manage external projects, sponsorship projects and programs

-Coordinate and manage project communications with internal Beatport teams, SFX internal teams, third-party vendors, and client communications

-Creates and maintains detailed tracking of all projects and programs

-Will be responsible for scheduling meetings and meeting coordination

-Responsible for day-to-day site maintenance that includes content refresh and management, tracking, reporting, etc. 

-Responsible for weekly metrics reporting

-Participates in daily and weekly team meetings

-Responsible for managing all calendars and project schedules

-Reporting daily, weekly and monthly progress to the Beatport team members

-Coordinates with labels, sponsors, and winners for prize fulfillment

-Potential on-ground events coordination with our various internal teams and external partners

-Potential talent management and communications

-Additional project management and project management administrative responsibilities

Qualifications

To land this job you’ll need to have:

-High school diploma

-Bachelors degree in marketing or related field is a plus

-Understanding of project management best practices - PMP would be ideal but not necessary

-Understanding of Agile practices – CSM would be ideal but not necessary

-Must be detail and task oriented

-Experience with project management and cross-departmental timeline management

-Capable of taking orders and following through consistently and reliably on a daily basis

-A "no excuses producer" who will do what it takes to get the job done against all odds

-Relentless with follow through

-Strong in both verbal and written communication 

-Experience in MS Office and Google Doc suite of tools 

 

And it will be a bonus if you’ve got:

-Familiarity with Electronic Dance Music

-Ad, creative or interactive agency
