As a Search Engineer on our search team you will play a key role in the development of the Beatport

You definitely:

• Have had experience using Elasticsearch, Solr or Lucene

• Have professional experience with several different major programming languages, and patterns

• Theoretical understanding of text indexing, from academia or work experience

• Have a good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and data optimization.

• Care about creating great software with the user’s experience in mind.

• Have created software for large scale, high-volume sites in the past

• Create documentation and tests for the software you write.

It would be nice if you:

• Have worked on ranking algorithms before

• Have extensive experiences in machine learning

• Made contributions to Free Software projects.
