We are looking for an experienced Rails developer to join Beatport working on building the next generation Beatport platform! We are looking for someone with a strong background in software development, RESTful web services, and writing highly scalable code. This is a full time position in New York, NY. 

You definitely:

• Are skilled in building fast and scalable Ruby on Rails apps
• Have a strong knowledge of RESTful principles
• Have worked with Postgres or similar DBs
• Have experience with the AWS stack (EC2, S3, ELB, ElastiCache, CloudFront, RDS, IAM, SES)
• Have proficiency with at least one configuration management framework (Chef, Salt, Ansible, Puppet, etc)

It would be fantastic if you:

• Understand testing methodologies and have used them in your apps.
• Have an interest in, or want to learn more about, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
• Have worked with audio/video (transcoding, editing, streaming, etc.)
