As the Director, Digital Design you will be responsible for ensuring the Beatport brand identity is consistently applied across all Beatport properties. By working closely with the Product, Design, and Marketing teams you will guide the collaboration and communication flows between all stakeholders and contributors, removing any roadblocks and identifying opportunities to improve on existing practices. Success in this role requires a desire to be both a leader and the ability to be a hands on member of the Design team.

What you will be responsible for:

• Uphold the direction of Beatport’s style guide in all aspects of design connected to Beatport’s properties (Beatport Pro, Beatport.com, Beatport News, etc)

• Develop an understanding of the focus, vision and priorities for the Beatport brand to ensure all communications embody brand consistency

• Review & sign off on social media and marketing production

• Manage a team of Designers responsible for daily production of marketing, merchandising and social media content

• Apply full understanding of life cycle management of creative from concept, creative kickoff to launch, etc.

• Navigate through buy in/approval process among management team in order to drive creative direction

Required: 

• 10+ years overall Design experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity

• Ability to produce and oversee work from concept to delivery

• Demonstrated portfolio including large scale e-commerce and digital work 

• Well versed in relevant web and design technologies

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work with others; take ideas and form consensus
