Permanent solutions come as the result of dynamic and faithfully executed plans that address all aspects of a client’s life, including intellectual development, mental health, physical health, family dynamics, and leisure time.  Plans are evidence based, family driven and youth guided.

Job Description

 The Becket Family of Services is currently looking for
a Permanency Specialist to provide family therapy and counseling
services for youths and families in our Vermont program.  The successful
candidate will help establish lifelong connections provide clinical support for
youths and their families and assist youths and families to overcome obstacles,
identify strengths, and develop a support network to ensure they overcome their
challenges and achieve success.
     This position provides and coordinates
treatment to achieve the goals of the permanency plan. The
Permanency Specialist will also have an integral role interacting with the
community through court and in community based meetings with service
providers, typically, schools, DCF. Ideally, the Permanency Specialist will
work in the community and occasionally travel to our Bennington School, located
in Bennington, VT.

    

 

We are looking for a team player that will be
excited to provide innovative and dynamic individual and family therapy for at
risk and adjudicated youth involved in both community and residential treatment

Qualifications

- Masters Degree in Family Therapy, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
- Two years experience counselling adolescents and families.
