Job Description

Bitium is looking for an ambitious new team member to serve as Technical Support Representative. This person must be a versatile candidate that can work closely with Bitium’s Customer Success, Product, Sales, and Marketing teams. This team member will report to our Manager of Customer Success & Support, and will interact with our rapidly growing customer base every day. The position offers a great way to get a wide range of experience working with a fast-growing tech company.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and manage inbound customer support requests
  • Serve as Bitium product expert for both internal teams and Bitium’s customer base
  • Assist Customer Success Team with new customer setup and training
  • Serve as technical resource to Sales Team and assist as needed with sales calls
  • Establish close relationships with customers to ensure continued success
  • Serve as liaison between customers and Bitium’s support and product/engineering teams
  • Draft support articles and other materials that will help customers self-service

Qualifications

  • Experience managing a support ticket queue with Desk.com or another Support Ticket System
  • Strong understanding of cloud applications and cloud architecture (previous could application administration experience preferred)
  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter with strong self-discipline
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to triage inbound customer requests and prioritize them against other daily responsibilities
  • Ability to think quickly and react when challenged with unfamiliar questions and product scenarios
  • Comfortable speaking with people at all levels of a company, including executives
  • Ability to understand highly technical concepts and translate them to a non-technical audience
  • Passion for technology and continued learning
