We need you to make the Trip squad fully autonomous to Build, Own and Run the Trip Search service.

What you will directly contribute to:

• Maintain and proactively improve our elasticsearch cluster through topology, shared distribution, replicats number, nodes types, traffic projections, etc. As part of the stack owned by the trip squad, you will be the ultimate owner of its robustness, scalability and reliability;

• Operate team containers (rocket, kubernetes), the onboarding to techno will be done by our ops team;

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues;

• Collaborate with Architects, Ops, Data, and Infrastructure team on designing scalable and highly available Application Platform;

• Improve your ES and Ops skills;

• Participation in on-call rotation.

What you will need to be successful:

• Valuable experience as a System Admin;

• Excellent proficiency in ES - you already had the opportunity to operate a large cluster;

• Having worked with PostgreSQL, Java and geo ( data/tools ) would be a plus;

• Full-stack mindset and willingness to learn and use new technos;

• Implacable willingness to build massive, solid and reliable applications that scale;

• Assertive contribution to the decision making process and team roadmap;

• Fun team spirit that embraces the power that agile methods assigns to everyone;

• Firm belief that “Done is better than perfect” and that “The member is the boss” are compelling values;

• Benevolent Teammate and fun attitude;

• Good proficiency in English (French is a plus).
