The Member Relations Team at BlaBlaCar aims at providing assistance to this community, by listening to users, guiding them and satisfying them. This ensures our members an enriching and trustworthy experience. The Community Relations Team is answering questions and requests in 30 different languages, everyday and 7 days a week.

What you will directly contribute to:

  • Leading and motivating the Italian and Spanish part of the Community Relations Team based in Paris, to reach a standard of excellence in handling all of member related topics
  • Training your staff to ensure a consistently high level of service quality and to create excitement among every BlaBlaCar member
  • Being responsible for the staffing plan, hiring, working schedules and vacations requests
  • Optimizing existing procedures and develop new ones
  • Creating and analyzing quarterly reports and statistics, draw conclusions, and take all necessary actions
  • Reporting to the Operations Manager & Head of Community Relations based in our Paris headquarters
  • Collaborating with Country Managers based in Madrid and Milan

 

Qualifications

What you will need to be successful:

  • Fluency in written and spoken Spanish, Italian and English. Understanding French is also an asset.
  • University degree in communication / social sciences / business / economics or similar
  • 2 years of experience required in managing a team of at least 10 employees in customer service
  • Natural leadership qualities and ability to create excitement in peers and subordinates
  • Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
  • Good knowledge of internet services and startups sector
  • Previous experiences in handling clients based in Spain and/or Italy is a plus
  • Being a user of BlaBlaCar yourself is also a great advantage
