BlaBlaCar is launching a new product line for transport professionals that is set to fuel tremendous growth for the company. With the BlaBlaCar Pro product(s), we are building a new vertical at BlaBlaCar by opening our marketplace to bus transport partners. Our ambition is to become the n.1 destination for road transport in the coming years.

As front-end expert within this BlaBlaCar Pro project team, you’ll be building the heart of our new ecosystem dedicated to bus transport partners. You will play a key role in the development, support and maintenance our brand-new portal (Single Page Application) which aims at helping bus transport professionals to manage their offers, quality of their service and daily operations on our marketplace.    

Your strong technical expertise will feed our Product Managers and UX designers in the design of new features and product enhancement. Your sense of ownership and your pragmatism will help us to build state-of-the-art technical designs and to manage development of new features and core foundations of our pro portal, making sure they are robust and scalable.  

What you will directly contribute to:

• Reporting to our Web Engineering Manager and contributing to our shared front-end codebase, internal librairies, CI platform and cross-company best practices
• Building features on our pro portal within the BlaBlaCar Pro product team, made of software engineers, product managers and UX designers
• Taking part in Product and UX definition, managing technical designs and development of new features, ensuring they are scalable, robust and easy to use
• Providing technical expertise and support to multiple internal stakeholders (product managers, business analyst, data scientists, etc.)
• Deploying and operating your applications to production, ensuring they are performing as expected through monitoring and instrumentation
