The BlaBlaCar tech team is located in Paris HQ, and welcomes applications from talented tech profiles in the area (no remote applications please). Key fields of activity

• Building the technical layer of BlaBlaCar right on top of a wide stack of ever evolving open-source tools requires loads of brain-power and specific knowledge 

• We're all working under Mac/Linux, organise ourselves with Jira and its siblings (Stash, Bamboo, Confluence) and use Git for version control

• We expect an above-average Web culture and curiosity, exceptional motivation and hunger for improving your and BlaBlaCar's skills

• Teamwork is king at BlaBlaCar, and we are particularly fond of sharing knowledge at conferences or internal presentations

We have the following distinct job fields within the Teach Team:

Backend developer: A php guru and Symfony fanatic, working on the continuous improvement of our different applications

Frontend developer: A webdesign ninja, capable of translating any wireframe/design into cross-browser compatible HTML/CSS/JavaScript code

Architect: A system administration that fluently speeks Linux, ensuring that our applications continue to scale for our ever-growing user base

Scrum Master: A facilitator helping our team to deliver while respecting the process and deadlines

Tech Manager: A multi-tasker and Jira-addict ensuring the management of the Tech team and the flow of information

You should have a favourite beer, a solid choice that you can explain and defend equally good in English or French, even after several of them.
