As Country Manager your mission will be to establish our office in Bucharest, build a local team and work at growing the BlaBlaCar brand into a household name while improving the long distance mobility of millions of Romanian people.

 Key responsibilities:

• Managing the country’s marketing and communications growth strategy
• Launching and implementing strategic partnerships 
• Representing BlaBlaCar locally in front of the media and public authorities
• Hiring, building and managing a team locally (4 people initially)
• Managing the country P&L, accounts, payrolls and reporting
• Setting up the legal structure of the company
• Working with global team on product and marketing improvements

• Degree in Business or Engineering (Master’s level)
• Work experience including people management (minimum 3 years)
• Strong online/mobile background
• Strong data and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative, proactive, entrepreneurial mindset
• Hands-on approach                                                             
• Native Romanian, fluent English
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and with remote offices
• International experience (working or studying) is a significant plus 

• Start: Immediately
• Place: Based in Bucharest with regular business trips to HQ
• Contract: Long-term contract 
• Salary: According to profile and experience
