Job Description

As a Social media and Communication Specialist you will be joining the Italian Local Team in Milan. You’ll be joining a very skilled and motivated team of people, whose goal is to foster awareness, love & engagement. 


Our mission is to become a low-cost transportation market leader in Italy by creating the ridesharing reflex in people’s mind, positioning BlaBlaCar as the most "fun and serious" service and having our members become evangelists of BlaBlaCar on social networks and in real life. As such, the role requires a sharp, creative, dynamic and rigorous mind.


Your key responsability will be to plan and coordinate BlaBlaCar Italy's communications strategy and to be involved in the main projects in order to enhance the impact of them by building a strong, engaging and community-based positioning.

You will be asked to:

  • Identify and manage Communications projects such as Social media marketing, Contests, Awards, Partnerships, Videos,  ...
  • Provide ideas and solutions that help us achieve the global Communications goals of positioning and engagement
  • Feed ideas into brainstormings about future communication projects

  • Define and analyze the project KPIs in order to optimize the future Communications strategy and improve efficiency 

  • Work closely with your colleagues in the Communications Team to ensure cohesion and sinergy between all of our channels

  • Take part in social media content and help producing compelling content for our channels

  • Maintain a close collaboration with the Marketing department to synchronise campaigns and special actions
  • Be an eloquent BlaBlaCar spokesperson available for interviews
  • Contribute to and collaborate with the Global Communications Team (in English)

Qualifications

  • 2 to 6 years of experience in Communications (e.g. as Communications Strategist, Digital strategist, Communications Project manager, Social media manager,  ...)
  • Deep knowledge about social media and digital communications
  • Unwavering written and verbal communications skills
  • Master's Degree
  • Native Italian Speaker, Excellent English level
  • Passion for BlaBlaCar and the mission of the company
  • Must be able to work outside contractual hours when necessary

  • Salary: Depends on profile and experience
