As a Corporate Development Associate you will join the newly created Corporate Development Team in Paris. The goal of the team is to scout for companies that could help BlaBlaCar grow faster, and manage M&A deals and integrations.

As such, the role requires:

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Strong work ethic
• Basic financial modelling skills
• Good knowledge of the internet and start-ups ecosystem

Responsibilities

 1) Identify, assess and analyze strategic opportunities:

• Building relationships with emerging and established companies of our ecosystem
• Leading industry & competitive landscape analysis

• Deal negotiation and financial modeling
• Coordinating due diligence across different teams (internal and external)
• Managing operational integration of newly acquired companies to maximize their impact at BlaBlaCar

• 2-3 years’ experience in Venture Capital, Corporate Development, M&A Advisory for start-ups or Private Equity (small cap)
• Ability to connect with entrepreneurs, investors and company executives
• Ability to operate with a high degree of sensitivity and confidentiality
• Creative and strategic thinking
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Goal driven, welcoming accountability
• Fluent in English (French and/or another language a plus)
