Job Description

  • Develop project plans, goals, and work within guided budget plans; identify resources needed, develop schedules and methods for measuring results
  • Responsible for guiding and performing strategic analysis for the project
  • Organize and manage all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion
  • The assembler and coordinator of project team members; assign individual tasks and responsibilities
  • Plans and oversees the preparation and dissemination of project communications
  • Communicates with top-level management, project sponsors, functional area managers and/or other stakeholders regarding status of specific projects
  • Get involved with process re-engineering.



  • Knowledge and experience in cross-functional project management methods and techniques, preferably with startup experience
  • Thorough understanding of Agile and Waterfall software development life cycles
  • Experience using case and code tracking tools such as FogBugz, Jira, Git, Kiln, or Mercurial
  • Ability to create new work processes and re-engineer existing processes
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills; a strong planner and organizer of processes and people
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to influence and lead, as well as delegate; facilitator of team work; effectively manages conflict; adaptable, able to keep cool in high-pressure situations
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering or related field, plus
  • 3+ years project management experience in a technology environment, plus
  • Qualification in project management or equivalent; knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management including tools and processes
