Job Description

The right candidate will provides numerous services indoors and outdoors in a variety of areas, including general maintenance and cleaning, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and renovations, dispose of trash, replace light bulbs, tighten cabinetry or appliance hardware, help fix leaky pipes, clean drains, touch-up painted surfaces, assist fixing broken tile. Additionally, he might cut and lay new tile, install flooring, assemble prefabricated furniture or even custom-build new furniture or cabinets.
The candidate will might clean a building exterior and gutters, and remove leaves. Additionally, he might repair outdoor structures and furniture damaged by weather, age or accident.
Use of some handymen service equipment is required in and around buildings, clean out the air vents, replace any air or heating filters or schedule repairs, if needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods of time. Lifting may include equipment or furniture weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
• Basic ability to comprehend the English language sufficient to understand and communicate information for reasons such as safety and security; for example product safety labels and emergency instructions.

Education:
Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Experience:
Previous maintenance experience preferred.

Grooming:
All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available).

Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of hotel facilities. Employees who violate Hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
