You will be responsible for taking the guests orders, keeping them organized, and timing the course of service for your guests. You are also responsible to make sure that you are not just an order taker, but that you are well versed in the products so you can guide your guests experience and sell. Main Duties:  Great guests and make them feel comfortable. Learn menu items and be able to describe them appropriately to guests. Take beverage and food orders. Deliver beverages and food in a timely manner. Check-in with guests to ensure that everything is going well. Clear dirty dishes from table. Refill beverages throughout the meal. Deliver guest’s bill and thank them for dining at the restaurant Other duties: Clean off all plate and glassware from tables that have left. Re-set the table in the restaurants style. Make sure the table is set properly and clean.  Make sure the chairs and floor area around the table is clean. Bring all dishware to the dish area for cleaning. Re-stocking service stands. Making sure the beverage station was full (coffee, tea etc.) Emptying trash Bringing clean glassware to the bar area. Getting ice Bringing out the linen. Folding napkins Polishing silver and glassware
