BoutiqueHospitality Management is a dynamic, fast paced hotel management firm that iscurrently developing a restaurant in the Miami airport market. We are seeking aproject manager intern to oversee the preopening actives and coordinate withcompany executives, owners and contractors alike.  The ultimate objective is producing a firstclass restaurant.

Thisposition will oversee the minor construction, as well as, FF&E purchasingand installation for the restaurant. This position will communicate and coordinate with the hotel departmentheads for delivers, integration, and interruptions of services to the hotel asa result of the restaurant development. We are looking for someone to work on site at the project.  This would position would support thePresident with project and pre-opening activities.

Detailed record keeping in English is required forlogs and inspection sheets

Inspect guestrooms, public space and back of thehouse areas to repair, touch up or replace light bulbs, lamps, switches,outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, furniture, wall coverings,caulking, grouting or other miscellaneous repairs. This requires the individualto visually inspect and detect items needing repair and requires a considerableknowledge of a wide variety of maintenance trades

Regular attendance in conformance with thestandards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to thesuccessful performance of this position.

Employees with irregular attendance will be subjectto disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitalityindustry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the businessneeds of the hotel.

Upon employment, all employees are required to fullycomply with rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of hotelfacilities. Employees who violate Hotel rules and regulations will be subjectto disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

SupportiveFunctions:

In addition to performance of the essentialfunctions, this position may be required to perform a combination of thefollowing supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing eachfunction to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particularrequirements of the hotel.

Maintain inventory of supplies needed to perform jobfunction.

Report major repairs and items which cannot berepaired to the chief engineer  forfurther action and if necessary, place a room out to order.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

The individual must possess the following knowledge,skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she canperform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonableaccommodation.

·        Knowledge of all maintenance trades, including basic electrical,plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.

·        Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.

·        Skill in the use of related tools (including other hand and electrictools).

·        Basic communication and mathematical skills in order to communicatewith co-workers, fully comprehend job assignments and perform accurate simplearithmetic functions

·        Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping and kneeling.

·        Ability to push and pull objects or materials weighing up to 100 lbs.

·        Ability to climb stairs and ladders, working at heights up toapproximately 30 feet, for extended periods of time, with the ability to reach,oftentimes overhead.

·        Ability to grasp, lift or carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.,occasionally waist high.

·        Ability to deal with a number of problems requiring initiative and goodjudgment.

·        Ability to move and work throughout the hotel for the duration of theshift.
