Job Description

The Product Marketing Manager will be an integral part of the Global Marketing team and key liaison to the Project Management team, and will be responsible for driving all go-to-market initiatives for the launch of the company’s largest new product line. This is an important cross-functional role that will work across multiple groups, including Product, Engineering Development, Finance, Sales, Operations and Customer Service to ensure that our marketing/go-to-market initiatives are executed on schedule and integrated across functions.


  • Develop and drive execution of cross-functional project plans for all marketing/go-to-market initiatives (including but not limited to market research, pricing, forecasting, creative and media campaign development, retail, sales and channel planning, PR and events planning)
  • Create and manage processes to ensure consistent communication, follow-up and results across functional groups -- identify key interdependencies across groups, highlight risks to plans and help problem solve to meet deadlines
  • Work closely with the global marketing team, including PR, Digital, Brand, Product Marketing and local marketing to manage priorities across the organization
  • Manage external agency deliverables and schedules and ensure relevant functions/departments are brought in where necessary
  • Proactively participate and/or lead process improvement, continuously looking for opportunities to gain efficiency, increase transparency and promote effective communication

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years’ experience in a project management or marketing role
  • Significant leadership experience, particularly driving collaboration and alignment across international environments
  • Experience driving new product launches to successful execution in a consumer electronics/technology industry environment – understanding of the interdependence of key marketing initiatives to other functions, particularly Product, Finance, Sales, Operations and Customer Service
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to bring groups together in a start-up environment where process may not exist
  • Strategic thinking combined with tactical execution skills to connect the dots and drive decisions across a global organization
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and tight deadlines
  • Comfort level working with all levels of management, not afraid to push where needed to drive results
  • Must be energized by fast-paced start up environments
