About YOU:

We are looking for scrappy, hardworking, intelligent and highly creative designers to join our rapidly growing team. We need someone who is excited about injecting fresh design into next generation apps, and is ready to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and create effective, intuitive, and cutting-edge designs for Boxer.

• Refine and polish the existing Boxer design.

• Research competitive products and current design trends to factor into design considerations.

• Follow brand guidelines and aesthetic direction set by senior design team.

• Offer recommended solutions to design and usability problems.

• Build wireframes, share designs for feedback, and iterate to create specs for the engineering team.

Aptitude

You need not have worked at Google, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram prior to applying.  Boxer believes that an individual’s ability to learn, adapt, and create is far more impactful than the logos on their resume.

It would also be nice if you knew something about / have experience with the following:

Required:

• 1 - 3 years professional experience in graphic design OR recent graduate with a degree in Graphic Design or equivalent.

• Expertise with Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

• Ability to clearly communicate design goals and challenges with team members.

• Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.

• Design flexibility.

• Good or working knowledge of typography.

• Careful attention to detail.

Desired:

• Experience with mobile design for Android or iOS.
