What this job is about:

We have created the Sales Development Representative position as a learner role to ensure a successful transition to a commissioned Account Executive role within our Brandpoint sales team. In this role you will learn every aspect of the Brandpoint sales process, including how to successfully find the right prospects, learn proper sales techniques, and apply them to your everyday activities to grow your earning potential. Your transition from an Account Development Representative to an Account Executive is completely in your hands. How you will become an Account Executive is by growing your ability to uncover opportunities for business development, meeting and exceeding your call quotas, and advancing your understanding of Brandpoint and our exciting industry.

What will you do?

  • Spend time each day proactively calling prospects to understand how we can help them achieve their business goals.
  • Work one-on-one with Account Executives to help you fully understand our sales process.
  • Show potential clients how we can help them through accurate product information, timely follow up, and professional but friendly customer service.
  • Use a consultative sales approach to help you understand the prospects business and how our products and services can benefit them.
  • Track activity and progress promptly with our Salesforce CRM

Qualifications

What we need to see: 

  • A passion for sales and a desire to learn!
  • Proven results and a goal focused mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree of equivalent education and experience.
  • Ability to use effective customer service skills to ensure client elation
  • Team-player attitude with a desire to see your team WIN
  • Be able to use MS office, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills allowing you to effective prioritize customer and business needs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and oral/written communication skills

What is nice but NOT needed: 

  • Prior experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Marketing service sales or Software as a Service sales experience
  • Previous experience with sales research
