Description This position is responsible for daily inspection efforts on complex and/or diverse projects that require construction experience and performs a variety of assignments. Responsibilities: Ability to coordinate with contractors’ staff, communicate effectively with all parties and good interpersonal skills Verify the implementation of contract documents Produce thorough inspection reports and maintain detailed records of work performed Prepares and monitors internal HNTB project controls for field personnel Produce and maintain punch lists Mentoring and training of staff Proactively recognizes complex construction or engineering problems and brings to resolution with contractor. Proficient in applying standard testing techniques and procedures for the verification of material Able to read and interpret complex plans, specifications, and shop drawings. . Able willing to work a shift schedule and/or flexible schedules as required to support the workload, as well as in inclement weather, heights, confined spaces and marine environments Able to lift 25lbs Performs standard mathematical calculations, including trigonometry Ability to multitask Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED plus 1-5 years construction related experience on large scale projects.
