Job Description

Summary

This position involves gathering/analyzing local hiring data and developing executive reports for Business Transformation Group’s Workforce Development clients. The Associate in this classification will provide advice and guidance to other staff who are either directly or peripherally involved with the contracting and procurement processes of construction projects. Associate will receive general supervision from Business Transformation Group project managers and clients.


Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Monitor various workforce development reports and required timelines among all partners.
  • Analyze and track construction managers’ data to verify local new hire commitments are being met.
  • Partner with construction managers to resolve reporting discrepancies and provide accurate data by specified deadlines.
  • Create monthly workforce development executive reports for distribution to partners.
  • Develop, maintain and analyze dashboard data points not captured by electronic tracking software.
  • Monitor electronic shared file software system of updated submissions for multiple projects and programs.
  • Read and interpret technical and legal material and apply to a variety of workforce development programs.
  • Measure the success of the program based on the projects’ Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and develop an executive report for distribution.
  • Evaluate how policies and communications affect the public from an individual, businesses, political and government agencies perspective.
  • Provided technical consultation on workforce development data reports and needs (LCP Tracker experience preferred).
  • Organize data in graphic format; Collect, tabulate and analyze employment, training and program data for use in planning.
  • Write effective and concise correspondence and reports to be distributed to clients, executive committees and additional stakeholder; including political partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (related work experience may be substituted for education requirements).
  • Major Field/Specialty: Accounting, Operations Research Analyst, Business Administration.
  • 3 + years of experience in related field.
  • PC application – particularly spreadsheet and database application.
  • Excellent analytical skills exhibiting sound logic and thinking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • LCP Tracker, Workforce Development and construction experience preferred.
