Job Description

The Regional Account Manager role, reporting to the Vice President of the Region, is a full time opportunity based in Regina.

This role is perfect for a mid-senior sales professional who wants to join a highly competent operations team in a growing region.  

There is some travel involved in this role and frequency will be determined based on COVID restrictions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain customer relationships and establish new prospects focusing on divisional sales targets and new business development.
  • Develop and maintain an effective business development and sales strategy for the region.
  • Participate in the implementation of the overall sales and marketing programs to build a positive corporate image with clients, the general public, and organizations within the CEDA operating footprint.
  • Proactively screen the market identifying potential services/contractual opportunities within Saskatchewan.
  • Proactively record and monitor ongoing sales activities using a CRM software (Salesforce) to track and organize opportunities with prospective and current customers.
  • Summarize the CEDA “value proposition”, activity schedule and potential resource requirements to support any new opportunities working with site based Operations team, Client and Service Line staff.
  • Liaise directly with operations team to ensure a smooth and effective start-up of new site opportunities monitoring our performance and working closely with client and CEDA operations team to ensure delivered value.
  • Work with the Director, Business Development and Vice President of the Region to understand our current work scopes and service capabilities identifying areas for improvement or potential scope growth. Also collaborate on short and long term sales strategies to increase the company’s revenue and profitability including introduction of additional CEDA services.
  • Provide forecasts of revenue growth opportunities for assigned accounts or contracts summarizing the overall strategies, schedules and resource requirements to achieve growth.
  • Attend external functions and conferences to represent CEDA.
  • All other related duties as required.

Role Specifications

  • Minimum 7 years of industrial related experience
  • Minimum combined 5 years direct sales and/or management experience with emphasis on partnering with clients
  • Undergraduate degree in business is preferred. Consideration of other technical training or relevant field experience will be considered
