Job Description

Summary:

CEDA is looking for a Manager for our Chemical Cleaning division in Fort McMurray! This position is responsible for taking the lead in developing strategic initiatives that maintain and add to our existing customer base. This role will be responsible for management of staff and customers relations.

This position is based in Fort McMurray, Monday – Friday and will be reporting to the Director, Chemical Cleaning.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, strategic direction and vision for future growth and development of the chemical cleaning group in Fort McMurray
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relationships and establish new prospects
  • Monitor individual project progress to ensure deadlines are met
  • Coordinate manpower and equipment to optimize existing resources
  • Assist with project management process for industrial cleaning projects
  • Supports the marketing and sales initiatives as well as bid packages and proposals
  • Participate in strategic and budgetary planning processes
  • Ensures adherence to all company health, safety, environmental standards, policies and procedures
  • Implement Loss Management practices through oversight of operational processes
  • Partner with supply chain on vendor matters as required
  • Occasional travel to all site locations
  • All other duties as assigned

 

Role Specifications

  • 10 years of Chemical Cleaning industry experience is required
  • 5-7 years in a management or supervisory role is required
  • 3-5 years of marketing/sales experience is an asset
  • Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean abstract
