Job Description

CEDA is currently seeking Labourers for our Arcola, SK location! If you’re looking for a company that will support you in getting your class 1 or 3 licence, apply today!

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the operation and maintenance of vacuum trucks, high pressure water equipment and various specialty tools
  • Work safely at heights up to 100 meters in a labor intensive capacity
  • Climb safely into small vessels and tanks with industrial cleaning equipment – our experienced crew has your back
  • Ensure safety for all team members and property
  • Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
  • Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Learn new skills every day by rigging in and out specialty equipment
  • Complete required paperwork for unit pre-trip, inspections, job reports and safety documents
  • Challenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every time
  • Strictly observe and enforce all company and client safety requirements

Qualifications:

  • Class 5 licence with no more than 5 demerits
  • Experience in an industrial environment and asset
  • Willingness to get your CSO certification (or combination of SCOT and OSSA Regional or BSO)
  • Confined Space and Fall Protection certification an asset but not required, we will train you!
  • Able to provide negative results on  pre-employment and client pre-access drug and alcohol testing

Skills:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
  • Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
  • Enjoy working outdoors the majority of the time in varied weather conditions
