Job Description

CEDA is looking for an HSE Administrator at our Bonnyville office location. This is a full time opportunity working Monday to Friday and reporting to the Manager, Health, Safety & Environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist leaders and HSE team with incident review and approval process in Intelex
  • Coordinate and fulfil requests as part of the Live Safe Now Recognition Program and maintain records
  • Maintain the employee profiles in the HSE systems and databases
  • Perform data entry in HSE databases and retrieve reports as required
  • Create customized reports and update HSE information within targeted timeframe
  • Facilitate training on the HSE systems
  • Collaborate with other corporate service teams within CEDA outside of the Bonnyville location
  • Daily communication with internal and external clients
  • Other duties as assigned

Role Specifications

  • 2+ years of administration experience required
  • HSE administrator or field administrator experience is an asset
  • HSE diploma/certificate and/or National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) designation is an asset
  • Related industry experience would be a definite asset
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office Suite - comfortable creating custom PowerPoints, creating and editing both excel and word documents
  • Demonstrate an uncompromising commitment to health and safety

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and Verbal)
  • Strong organization, prioritization, skills with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and in a team environment
  • You have the capacity to problem solve and thrive in high pressure situations
  • Quick Learner, especially when it comes to computer programs
  • Demonstrates discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information
