Job Description

CEDA is currently seeking a Supervisor for our Dredge Fluid Management team based out of Fort McMurray. If you are someone who is excited by new challenges, self – motivated and accountable, with an understanding of our equipment, apply now!

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor projects to ensure job completion in an efficient, cost effective, and most importantly, safe manner
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relations by leading through safe work performance and measurable key performance indicators
  • Work with other site supervisors to coordinate manpower and equipment needs
  • Monitor progress against project schedules and budgets
  • Coordinate maintenance and checks on company vehicles and equipment
  • Collaborate with management on all operational and personnel issues
  • Provide leadership and direction to employees by ensuring they understand CEDA’s vision for the future
  • Assist with the investigation and management of site incidents
  • Review all safety participation and encourage employee involvement
  • Assist with the development of safe work procedures and training development
  • Arrange employee development and lead performance management
  • Complete required paperwork for assigned projects and jobs
  • Other duties as assigned

Role Specifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in industrial services/maintenance in the oil & gas industry is required
  • 3-5 years in a leadership role is required
  • Technical degree or trade certificate is an asset
  • Valid Class 5 licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years
  • Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
